Miso is ‘fermented beans’ in Japanese, a traditional ingredient in many japanese and chinese cuisine, is soon becoming a well known product for the rest of the world. It is highly nutritious - great source of protein, vitamins B, E and K and folic acid. It’s when Autumn has just begun, you feel the cold in the air and then there is sudden warm days again. Once the prawns are cooled down add into the bowl and gently mix it. Serve right away. And yes we are very happy with that, if it hits beyond that we can’t take it, and even me coming from India where 30 used to be quite common for me now that kind of heat is unbearable. I have used zero fat Greek yogurt you can use the full fat one too. Get creative by using raspberries instead of blueberries, add a splash of lemon juice, up to you. ;)</p> <p><img alt="Bluberry Yogurt Popsicle" data-entity-type="file" data-entity-uuid="fd2af9d1-b17c-41c0-9585-7d7d4a5073ea" src="/sites/default/files/inline-images/Website-7.jpg" /></p> <p>You can use fresh or frozen berries, I have used frozen which I always have in my freezer. The best way to do this is first simmer the berries in a small saucepan with honey and sieve it so no seeds are there then mix it to the yogurt, pop them into ice cream moulds and they are good to use.</p> <p>Hope you like this recipe, it’s so so easy to make and you will like it. Sieve the berries mixture into the yogurt and gently mix. Do not over mix so you have nice ripples.</li> <li>Pop into popsicle moulds and freeze for one hour.</li> <li>Remove from the freezer after an hour place the sticks, drizzlen with quiona crunch and freeze again for around 4 hours or overnight. I remember I took this to my bro-in-laws place and he ate it straight from the jar. The chicken marinated in flavourful rich Indian spices makes the chicken so juicy and moist. In India especially where I come from it’s so warm and we don’t have winter as such. When I moved to Ireland I experienced what an actual winter feels like and after you have had that freezing cold winter you welcome spring and then the beautiful summer. We live in an apartment so don’t really have space for a bbq at home, lucky for us there are many places in Ireland you can go and have a one.</p> <p>Some of the places where you can have a bbq are -</p> <ul><li><strong><em>Powerscourt waterfalls</em></strong> - Also a great place to visit, with the beautiful waterfall on the background it’s a lovely place for a bbq. It also has a play ground for kids and lots of space to run around and have a good time.</li> </ul><p><a href="https://powerscourt.com/waterfall">https://powerscourt.com/waterfall</a></p> <ul><li><strong><em>Malahide castle and gardens</em></strong> - We haven’t had a bbq here but when the visited the play ground they we did see so many people having a bbq there. Let it marinate for at least 3 hours even better if kept overnight in the refrigerator.</li> <li>Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius,</li> <li>if using wooden skewers soak them in water for at least 30 mins.</li> <li>Skew the chicken, peppers and onions one by one to the skewers.</li> <li>Use the grill mode if making it in the oven and grill for 30 mins. At 15 mins use a brush melted butter or ghee and turn the skewers around and grill for another 15 mins.</li> <li>If making on a barbecue, should take 15 to 20 mins. Again keep turning it around so it cooks evenly and brush melted butter or ghee every time you turn it.</li> <li>Serve as a starter with raita or maid it a meal by serving it with cooked basmati rice and plain Greek yogurt on the side. The magic of baking always fascinated me. This Banana bread is so moist and oh so tasty! Moist and so tasty. It is refined sugar free, I have used pure honey and that too only a tablespoon, because the bananas also are enough to sweeten it. The only thing that has sugar is chocolate chips, you can omit if you don’t want them. No need to over beat, few lumps of banana is ok.</li> <li>Now make a small well in the middle of the dry mixture and add the wet mixture to it. Use a spatula and mix well. Add the chopped dark chocolate pieces and mix well.</li> <li>Add the mixture into the prepared loaf tin and bake in the oven for about 45 mins to 50 mins. Each oven heat varies so keep an eye out. It was that time we discovered <em><strong><a href="https://pizzadapiero.ie/">Pizza da Piero</a></strong></em> and when we first tried it at home, I was quite impressed by its quality, it was nothing like a ready-made base bought from the store. The texture is same as you would make at home. So, since 2012 I can’t even count the number of times, we have made different varieties of pizza using <a href="https://pizzadapiero.ie/"><strong><em>Piero’s pizza base</em></strong></a> and it has never disappointed us at all. I love that it is thin crust and stone baked. It’s light and delicious! Together with his Irish wife, Cliona, they established The Artisan Pizza Company in 2007. Did you know that It takes two days to make each of their pizza bases? Every base is handmade using traditional Italian methods which allows the dough to take time to ferment which is what makes it light and easily digestible. We visited the town of Lake Como and it was absolutely beautiful, I am so glad we went back there again in summer years after with our little boy. We had dinner at a restaurant in Lake Como and there we ordered pizza which was topped rocket leaves. This recipe I am sharing is inspired by the pizza we ate there. Once you get into the habit of having smoothies from breakfast you will see how fresh and energized you will feel. After I changed my whole lifestyle one of the major change I did was switching to smoothies for breakfast. We had a wonderful fun filled Easter and it was also our little boy's 6th year birthday. We had a huge family gathering and there was food, lots and lots of good food!
